EARTH SCIENCE- GEOLOGY, METEOROLOGY, OCEANOGRAPHY AND ASTRONOMY Today we live in a time when the Earth and its inhabitants face many challenges. Our climate is changing and that change is being caused by human activity. Earth scientists recognized this problem and will play a key role in efforts to resolve it. GROUNDHOG DAY - Punxsutawney Phil  For the record, Punxsutawney Phil has an accuracy record of only 39% - pretty crappy record if you ask me.  I on the other hand have a goat named Spiros that predicts the weather for me. If he is cold to the touch - its cold outside, wet, it's raining, white, it's snowing, stiff - it's either an ice storm or he's dead. So far he has a 100% accuracy rate - lets make him famous!
