A Guide to Our Premier Skeletons Series
Posted by Denoyer Geppert on
Our Premier line includes articulated and disarticulated skeletons with numerous options. These skeletal models offer a higher level of quality and choice in didactic skeletal models:
1. Naturalistic Anatomical Details: These molds are produced from the bones of a select adult male specimen. The replicas are taken with the utmost care to preserve anatomical details. Each bone is hand-trimmed in preparation for painting or assembly.
2. Top-Quality Materials and Craftmanship: These bones are cast in a 100 percent non-breakable plastic. All hardware and fittings are used to assemble from high-quality materials that have been rigorously tested. The assembly of the articulated skeletons has been designed to maximize durability and functionality.
3. Hundreds of Choices to Match Every Need: Choose from articulated, disarticulated, loose bones, or partial assemblies. Each skeleton includes labeled or numbered-coded muscle attachments.
We offer three classes of articulated skeletons: Academic Series, Kinesiology Series, and UltraFlex Series. Options for all three differ slightly but include these standard features:
- 100% non-breakable plastic bones replica, cast from those of a select male specimen.
- Stainless-steel fittings.
- Individual extractable/re-insertable teeth — complete with roots — each tooth in its own socket.
- Detachable spring-articulated mandible.
- Hinged mandibular flap which opens to expose roots of teeth in their sockets.
- Detachable calvaria for access to the neuro-cranium.
- Detachable arms and legs (Ultraflex right side only).
- Stand, sacral mount or hanging.
Articulated Models

Kinesiology Series
Premier male Kinesiology skeletons faithfully reproduce life-like positioning and motions of the head, spine, limbs, hand and foot with natural flexibility. They're ideally suited for manipulation and demonstration in kinesiology, orthopedics, physical therapy, and chiropractic.
- All have flexible spines and lifelike bending and twisting, lateral flexion and stretching movements of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions
- Flexible articulation at shoulder blades actually rotate on their axes when arms are abducted
- Medial and lateral rotation of the elbows and knees
- One hand and one foot loosely articulated
- Plain, painted with muscles-labeled or numbered
- Sacral mounted stand or hanging

UltraFlex Series
Premier Ultraflex Skeletons all feature a flexible spine and male pelvis. Quadra series involves ligaments at four major joints on the right side—shoulder, elbow, hip, knee. The Ultra series includes ligaments at six major joints on the right side—shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle.
Choose the skeleton with the options you need:
- Quadra or Ultra series
- Plain, painted with muscles-labeled or numbered
- Sacral mounted stand or hanging

Disarticulated
Cast from a superior specimen, each bone featured in our Premier disarticulated skeleton is hand-finished. The skeleton includes a 4-art skull with 4 removable teeth, 1 hand and 1 foot strung on nylon filament, and the other loose and bagged, vertebra loosely strung on the filament in sequence and detachable, vertebral discs, hyoid, and sternum and costal cartilages. All other bones are disarticulated.
